John Graham's letter to the board of commissioners

Dear Commissioners,

In light of the experience that occurred at the Public Meeting with the Planning Commission Hearing on March 3, 2009 concerning scheduling public testimony, I would like to say that I think it is very important to organize the March 18th meeting so that the public can more easily schedule their time to participate. The Nestle application is quite significant and an opportunity to hear from the public is an important part of the process.
Thank you,

John Graham

I sure don’t think it would hurt if they heard this message more than once.

Thank you for the comments. The Planning staff recognized that issue during the meeting on the 3rd, and are developing the agenda for the 18th to have a more defined time period for public comment. Public comment is tentatively set to begin at approximately 6:30 pm, with the actual meeting starting at 1 pm. We will be advertising the meeting agenda prior to the meeting to encourage public comment.

Please also be aware that any written comments received prior to or at the meeting will also be made part of the record.

Please feel free to contact me with any other comments.

    Don Reimer
